Dr Natalie Cozier MRSC has spent over a two decades inside university research governance — leading knowledge exchange strategy, delivering a £8m Office for Students and UKRI-funded access programme, and founding initiatives now shaping how institutions approach equity in STEM. She is founder and editorial lead of Faultlines, founder of Breaking Barriers to Black Academia, and co-founder of GEDITT. At the University of Leicester, her work helped the institution rise from 45th to 23rd in enterprise rankings, and she has since built a career scrutinising how research institutions actually operate — not just what they claim to do. A Royal Society of Chemistry member and contributor to the RSC's Missing Elements report on racial and ethnic inequalities in the chemical sciences, she asks what happens when institutions are tested.

Lisa L. Mueller, J.D., B.S., is a shareholder at Casimir Jones, S.C. and an intellectual property attorney with more than 30 years of experience helping innovators protect, develop, and commercialize life-science technologies. With academic training in chemistry and biology, she advises universities, researchers, emerging companies, and global organizations on patent prosecution, international portfolio strategy, freedom-to-operate and validity analyses, due diligence, licensing, and regulatory matters. Lisa is also an author, educator, speaker, and podcast host who writes the Patent Panorama blog, hosts AUTM on the Air, and founded the Casimir Jones Life Sciences Patent Academy.Lisa earned her J.D., magna cum laude, and her B.S. in Chemistry and Biology from Valparaiso University.

Tom Hockaday is an independent technology transfer consultant with his business Technology Transfer Innovation, based in the UK. He has over thirty years' experience in the university technology transfer sector, starting out in 1989. He was CEO of Oxford University Innovation Ltd, the University of Oxford's Technology Transfer company, from 2006 to 2016, and before that worked in Technology Transfer roles at Bristol University and University College London. Tom is the author of 'University Technology Transfer - What It Is and How to Do It', published by Johns Hopkins University Press in 2020. Tom advises governments and universities around the world on Technology Transfer, Proof-of-Concept and Seed Investment funds. He is Chair of the Investment Committee of the South Africa based University Technology Fund, Funds I and II; an Innovation Expert for the Knowledge-Industry Programme in Catalonia, and adviser to Open Innovation Partnership, University of Kyushu, Japan. Tom is a Founder of 'Global Equality Diversity and Inclusion in Technology Transfer'.
